It means no shortcuts — just real food. GrindHaus products are made without preservatives, artificial flavours, stabilisers, or nature-identical substances. What you see on the label is exactly what’s inside.
No. We skip refined sugar, refined oils, and factory-made additives. Every jar starts with whole ingredients — nuts, spices, and jaggery — blended fresh in small batches.
We use organic ingredients wherever possible, but we don’t add a formal “organic” logo. Our focus is on honest sourcing, not marketing labels.
Most packaged foods hide behind “nature-identical” flavours and stabilisers. GrindHaus doesn’t. We keep ingredients short, pronounceable, and locally sourced — so the flavour comes from real food, not factory junk.
It’s our way of saying: read your labels, know what you eat. Inspired by @FoodPharmer's movement, GrindHaus lists every ingredient clearly — and soon you’ll see a simple pie-chart breakdown of what’s inside each jar.
All Grindhaus products come in reusable glass jars with tin lids — never plastic containers. Each jar is easy to wash, reuse, or recycle.
Yes. Every jar uses paper labels, and we pack orders in corrugated boxes with paper fillers and partitions instead of plastic bubbles or Styrofoam.
Only where it’s unavoidable — a thin cello tape seal on the lid and a biodegradable shrink wrap around the box for safety during transit.
We’re close. Some small elements like tape are still required for food safety and shipping. Wherever plastic remains, we’re constantly testing better biodegradable alternatives.
Absolutely. Wash them, remove the label, and use them for spices, snacks, or storage. It’s an easy way to keep the packaging out of landfills.
Every Grindhaus product is ground and cooked in small, carefully measured batches — not mass-produced. It lets us control texture, flavour, and freshness in every jar.
Because flavour doesn’t scale. Small batches let us roast, grind, and blend ingredients at the right temperature and time, so nothing tastes flat or industrial.
Not always — and that’s a good thing. We use real ingredients, not lab-made flavours, so you might notice tiny variations in spice or aroma depending on the season and crop.
Each batch goes through a quick sensory and safety check before sealing. From ingredient roasting to pH and texture, every jar is approved by the same in-house team that makes it.
Not for us. It’s the only way we know how to make food — handcrafted, consistently tested, and proudly made in Chennai with fresh, local ingredients.

Grindhaus is a Chennai-based clean-label food brand built on one idea — real ingredients, bold flavour, and complete transparency. Every product is made in small batches and crafted to taste like food, not factory formulas.
We believe good food should be simple, honest, and flavour-forward. That means no refined sugar, palm oil, preservatives, or artificial flavours — just clean, carefully sourced ingredients.
Grindhaus began with a single nut butter recipe made at home, and grew into a kitchen-led brand focused on Indian-inspired gourmet food that stays true to its ingredients.
We make everything ourselves, in-house. No co-packers, no shortcuts, and no marketing gimmicks — just handcrafted products made by a small team that cares about taste and integrity.
All products are developed and produced in Chennai, India. Our jars now reach customers across India through our website and selected stockists.
We’re expanding thoughtfully — new flavours, sustainable packaging, and more small-batch creations that continue to prove one thing: real food doesn’t need fake ingredients.
